Screen the Best Movies for a Very Small Cost at K-State

Horror, comedy, action, drama. It all plays at the Union. Join the Union Program Council (UPC) at the movies every weekend of the academic year for classic films, summer blockbusters, film festival favorites and Oscar-winning pictures. Films are now free for students with a valid K-State ID. Films are $3.00 for non-students.

On the weekend of January 20th, we will be screening “Thank You for Your Service.” Sgt. Adam Schumann tries to readjust to civilian life after returning home from the war in Iraq. Fellow soldier Tausolo Aeiti must deal with the aftermath of a bombing that left him with a traumatic brain injury. Will Waller searches for normalcy after surviving several explosions, while Michael Emory must deal with the effects of a sniper's bullet to the head. As memories of the battlefield still linger, the soldiers begin their long journey to physical and emotional rehabilitation.
